Thank you. Helpful.
If anyone else has this issue and uninstalling/reinstalling, repairing, checking compatibility mode, etc. don't fix it, try performing the following steps:
1. Close all open Office apps
2. Log into https://portal.office.com
3. Click your username in the upper-right corner and click "View Account"
4. Click "Install Status" on the left side
5. Click "Deactivate" under the computer the affected computer.
6. Restart one of the Office apps. It will initially show the same error, but it will then prompt you to reactivate the computer. Once you sign back in and reactivate, restarting the apps will fix it.
